Watch What You’re Saiun, boy!

The C6N Saiun was a high speed recon plane and eventual night fighter designed to outrun any Allied fighter to report on enemy activity. However, it was late in coming and amounted to a “day late and a dollar short” effort in the long run. Still, that didn’t prevent Aoshima from issuing a kit of it back in the 1960’s! Waaay before Sword came out with their “Myrt”, we in North America got the 1/72 Farpro Japan C6N Saiun, the “export version” of the Aoshima kit.
