Return of the Sweaty Man-Horse!

They say you can’t put lipstick on a pig, but it seems that putting stripes on a horse is a totally different thing! To cash in on cash-strapped would-be Vanners in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Ford did just that, and created the Pinto Cruising Wagon!  Not surprisingly, MPC kitted the 1980 version, but did so as one of their tradmark outrageous customs. Thus was born the now long-discontinued-and-ridiculously-expensive “Pony Express”! Complete with lots of goodies and the most bizarre “sweaty man horse” mascot known to modeldom, Round 2 has now answered the call of loser car fans everywhere and reissued this classic kit! Check out the newest model in Round 2’s stable: The reborn MPC 1/25 Pony Express Pinto on the Out of Box Page. Get ready… this one’s trippin’!
