Lada 2121? Niva heard of it!

There’s not a lot more obscure than Russian civilian vehicles, at least in the West! One thing that might be more obscure are Russian/Soviet die cast replicas of those same vehicles. That having been  said, the Lada model 2121 is suprisingly well-known, even in the West, albeit under the name “Niva”. A tough, somewhat ugly but surprisingly capable Off-Roader, the Niva has a cult following. If you want your own, it might be easier to get your hands on the replica made by Tantal.
