The need for transportation doesn’t wane just because you live in a crowded metropolitan area. Despite the current leftist campaign to demonize the car in favour of public transit and bicycles, for many, a car is still both a nice-to-have AND a need-to-have. The Japanese solved the problem of congested streets and the need for cars long ago, and the solution was the “Kei” car. These are super-tiny cars, far smaller than almost anything we, in North America, would ever see. A perfect example of the Kei car is the Subaru Rex. Check out Aoshima’s big-scale (even if not big-sized) 1/20 1981 Subaru Rex Combi on the Out of Box page to see what I mean!
