Bandai has gotten very good at kitting pretty much everything you could want from any given Gundam anime. However, some people always want more, including things like support vehicles and space craft, especially from UC-era stories. To satisfy these more hardcore fans, but not break the bank on tooling, Bandai developed the EX-Model series.
Thankfully, there is an EX-Model of my favourite Gundam ship of all time, the Albion from Gundam 0083. While it might be simplified in terms of color and part count, this particular kit looks like it will build up rather nicely.
