Talbot is a name that has a long and proud history, at least in Europe. Mind you, by the time Chrysler got their hands on them and applied their storied nameplate to things like the Omni/Horizon hatchback, you could say that they were really on the way out.
However, when Chrysler sold the name to Peugeot, things only got worse. The death knell came in the form of Talbot’s final “Executive Saloon”, the boxy and boring Tagora. Given its status as a sales failure and a nameplate-killer, the Tagora is not something you see kits of. I love them to death, but I am a definite minority.
However, Solido did their patriotic duty and produced a fine 1/43 replica of the Tagora. However, they also made a cut-rate version in their Solido Cougars line. Check out the 1/43 Talbot Tagora on the Solido Cougars page, and get ready for some blocky Euro-fail!
