R-Gun Powered 030

- Just in case you didn’t believe me; those guns are why I’m amazed every time this thing DOESN’T fall down!
-
- From the back, you can see the bare steel plates on the lower legs, some of the detail washing, and the large number of fins and blades on this thing! It’s like the bastard love child of a porcupine and a shotgun.
-
- There are more pieces in the cannon pack than in most HGUC GMs or Zakus. The fit is ‘meh’ for most of them, so scraping, care and control are key for getting things together without problems.
-
- Here you can see the Jet Exhaust/Orange thrusters. I always think these details make or break a mech; making them standout adds a lot of realism.
-
- You’re going to need some shelf space for this thing. However, the guns angle upwards, so there’s a lot of room in front of him you can still use.

Then why did you color it like a my little pony?
I didn’t. I consider it more like a Decepticon paint scheme, actually. I don’t think Shockwave, Cylconus or Galvatron look like My Little Ponies, but then again, that’s just me.
Modelling, like any art, is a form of expression. I like purple and I like it on angry-looking mecha, so I thought it was a natural fit. If you prefer the Volkswagen Harlequin paint the kit was supposed to come in, or indeed any other paint scheme, then you are encouraged to go and get one of these kits and see how it looks!
